StratosHear to launch mobile advertising network

With MobiAdz, StratosHear has expanded its mobile advertising offerings from rich audio advertising, to include mobile internet ad formats such as banner, video and text, and plans to be a one stop solution for all advertisers embracing the mobile medium.
Vinay Kumar, chief executive officer, StratosHear, said, "MobiAdz has received an incredible reception from the marketplace. Over 100 publishers across various verticals have registered with MobiAdz, which is now serving tens of millions of ad impressions per month across 200 countries.”
He added, "We have incorporated artificial intelligence into the algorithms that power MobiAdz, and that is used to ensure optimal ad targeting and strong campaign results.  As such, the MobiAdz engine goes beyond the traditional ad network approach to deliver advanced campaign optimisation techniques for its publisher and advertiser partners.
On the company's entry into mobile internet, Kumar said, "We are now uniquely positioned to offer the broadest set of mobile advertising solutions that can reach the breadth of mobile consumers, from the entry level handset to the highest end smart phone user, and from a rural village in India to anywhere in the world.”
He added, "Close to 600 crore mobile calls are made every day in India. That in itself is a huge market to tap.”
On the opportunities in the mobile advertisement space in India, Kumar sees huge potential and feels the market needs to be tapped.
He said, "Mobile is a very personal and powerful device. It provides tremendous opportunities for delivering relevant advertisement to consumers through voice, video and text.
He added, "Location enabled ads will also add impetus to mobile advertising in the near future and we see brands asking specifically for innovative ways to reach their consumers using mobile.
On the company's future plans, Vinay said, "The company plans to raise Rs 100 crore in the next five years to expand its network and offering, and strengthen its position in the mobile advertising space.
