Dell launches new Android phone

Dell has launched a new smart phone in Hong Kong called Venue - a 4.1 inch device running Android 2.2 Froyo.

Phone uses a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor. It has a 4.1 inch AMOLED screen with pixel resolution of 800 x 480.The 8 mega pixel auto focus camera has an LED flash, and the phone has a built in memory of 1 GB that is expandable to 32 GB. It also supports A-GPS for maps and navigation.
Dell's Venue features the company's new user interface (UI), has an HSPDA interface, can be synchronised to other devices, and supports WiFi . It is also compatible with Microsoft document files.
The price for India has not been announced so far, but in Hong Kong the device will sell at nearly HK$ 4, 000 (Rs 23,000).
Dell Venue is expected to be available in India soon.
