SPAM 2.0 on your mobile phones

Forget bulk SMSes, now ready for bulk calls!

"The home of your dreams at just Rs 2,000 per month". On an average a mobile phone user receives up to ten to fifteen such messages in a day, consuming a lot of time of the users.
The situation is set to change for worst with companies involved with bulk messaging coming up with automated voice messaging services.
Now a situation may arise where instead of fifteen SMS messages you will left answering fifteen calls in a day!
The situation has arised as the cost of such calls has gone down drastically.
Where an SMS costs anywhere from 10 paisa to 1 paisa, the voice messaging services are not very expensive with 10 paisa per message with an additional guarantee of charging only if the call connects.
The scenario is not only worst for those who have not registered with the National Do Not Call Registry or NDNC, but for the registered users also.
Out of the total mobile phone user, only 15.67 per cent have registered themselves on the NDNC. This shows the reason why the SMS spam business is booming everyday.source:tmi
