Tata Docomo launches GSM services in Rajasthan

Tata Docomo, the GSM brand from the Tata Teleservices stable, today launched its operations in Rajasthan with a pay-for-what-you-use model.
"Tata Docomo services will be available from today across the state, initially with 20,000 shops in 580 towns," Anil Sardana, MD, Tata Teleservices Ltd, said at a press conference here.
"We are offering a number of services, including free missed call alerts and voice mail 'Buddynet' facility, enabling groups to talk within the group circle on low tariff, while the customers will get benefits of pay-as-you-use (per second pulse for local, STD, ISD) model as well," he said.
"Today's customer is well aware, so simplification of the services is the only way to increase customer base and that is what we are doing. We have simplified value-added services, and are attracting customers who keep multi-sims to enjoy different services with different operators," Sardana said.
