In October, Facebook added a dashboard to give users a way of clearly seeing and controling the ways that applications use the information they share on the social networking site. Now, these controls will be available for mobile users as well.
Over 200 million people use Facebook on their mobile phones to share photos, access applications and stay connected with friends – so this new feature will have many takers.
Users can now get a detailed view of the information they have shared with various applications and websites and can adjust privacy settings as well.
The new controls give a list of all the applications used along with the time when each was last accessed. These controls are in the within Privacy Settings of the application.
Settings one can adjust include access to a user's basic profile information, photos and videos, friends' information and more. To see your privacy controls on your mobile, go to m.facebook.com/privacy or visit the Settings page and click the Change link next to Privacy Settings.
These new mobile features will begin rolling out to everyone over the next few weeks.
