IMImobile powers Aircel 3G mobile VAS

IMImobile, a Hyderabad based mobile technology company, has announced that it is powering Aircel's 3G mobile VAS.

The company demonstrated its 3G mobile VAS at the experience zones launched by Aircel in Chennai.
The company's DaVinci 3G services deliver video on demand that can be streamed, subscribed to or downloaded, and allows users to access their favorite video content through an interface that is easy to use. Further, as the video portals provide visual prompts, service discovery, navigation and catalogue browsing are greatly streamlined, enabling end users to discover content and services best suited to them.
The video content is published in different categories and made discoverable through features such as full text search, automatic recommendations, top rated content, and top viewed content, along with promotional videos.
Vishwanath Alluri, chairman and chief executive officer, IMImobile, said, "Widespread availability of 3G services is going to be an important milestone for telecom services in India and we at IMImobile look forward to playing our part in this evolution."
