The Android Atrix 4G smartphone from Motorola and AT&T is tailor-made for people who want really powerful phones. Atrix 4G was revealed at the Consumer Electronics Show 2011.
It has a dual core processor and (hold your breath) 1 GB of RAM. It also sports 16 GB of onboard memory and uses a 1,920 mAh battery. There is no information on when the phone will be launched and how much it will cost, though more details might be expected from the upcoming Motorola press conference.
Atrix 4G is probably the same phone that was rumored to be Motorola Olympus. The phone has a 5 megapixel back facing camera along with LED flash, and a VGA quality front facing camera. Other than LTE, Motorola Atrix uses Wifi networks to access the web. There are two docks for the phone including Motorola laptop dock, HD multimedia dock and vehicle dock.
The laptop dock has a full sized keyboard and 11.6 inch display; while the vehicle dock allows users to access Google Maps and navigation, as well as make hands-free calls. The multimedia dock will enable video streaming to an HDTV nearby.
