Nokia, the largest mobile phone maker in the world, has announced its debut in ‘Touch and Type‘ design by launching two models, X3-02 and C3-01 in Indian market. Touch and Type phones provide consumers with the best experience with the phones having touchscreen facility and the keypad. Nokia X3-02 nad Nokia C3-01 both are 3G enabled and Priced at Rs 8,839 and Rs 9,389, respectively.
Nokia X3-02 has a 2.4 inch Touchscreen inch touchscreen with 240×320 pixel resolution. The traditional alpha-numeric keypad makes it unique from other models available in market. It also has a powerful 5 megapixel camera, FM radio , Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 32 GB micro SD support.
Nokia C3-01 also has a touchscreen and traditional keypad. This new mobile provides a 2.4-inch resistive touchscreen with 240×320 pixels resolution. It would provide 40MB internal memory, but would also support a 32GB micro SD memory expansion.
“The two new Touch and Type devices by Nokia are designed for those who like to stay connected and share experience with their social group,” he added. Nokia X3-02 comes equipped with dedicated music and messaging keys, with just 9.6-mm width, making it one of the “slimmest Nokia phones ever”,

Announcing the launch, T.S. Sridhar, regional general manager (South), Nokia India, said this innovation is based on in-depth research and consumer feedback which reveal that mobile users who have invested years in becoming fast one-handed, one-thumb texters want to maintain their speedy edge for SMS, chat and instant messaging and yet enjoy the benefits of touchscreen technology too.
