Samsung launches Galaxy Fit s5670 in India

The 3G enabled smartphone is based on Android 2.2 with a 5 MP camera.

 Leading Indian handset maker, Samsung has launched its new Android smartphone the Galaxy Fit s5670.
Based on Android 2.2, the Galaxy Fit s5670 features a 5 megapixel camera with a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels with digital zoom and multi-touch zoom options and extended video support features. User can click pictures through various predefined available shots, such as Single Shot, Continuous Shot, Panorama Shot, Smile Shot. .
It has a QVGA TFT capacitive touchscreen with a display size of 320 x 240 pixels. The phone weighs just 108.2 grams.
The phone has an internal memory of 160 MB and users has the option to expand its memory up to 32 GB which includes the 2GB pre-installed MicroSD card.
It has an excellent battery back up also. The 1350 mAh battery provides upto up to 642 hours of standby time in 2G and up to 421 hours for 3G applications.
The phonebook links to social networking sites, instant messengers, email accounts. For best connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy fit S5670 supports GPRS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB port, Edge, GPS and 3G features.
Other features of this 3G enabled phone include DNSe sound enhancement, 3.5mm headset jack, FM radio and a 600MHz processor.
It has been priced at Rs 12, 900 in India.
