Sony Ericsson Latest Gaming Phones

Sony Ericsson has big plans for Asia Pacific region where they plan to launch a wide range of unique, well-designed products that tap into mobile trends and have mass appeal.
Sony Ericsson, which launched Xperia Play, world's only PlayStation certified gaming phone, plans to add more gaming capability to its phones in future.

Steve Walker, Sony Ericsson's chief marketing officer said during the company's recently concluded Global Media Conference, "We really see the emergence of people using their smartphones to enjoy themselves in a variety of ways and gaming is one of the biggest things we see that will take off."
He added, "That's why we introduced a product like Xperia Play, and you'll see more and more gaming capabilities coming into our portfolio. It's all about entertainment. Combining smartphones and communications and entertainment together, that's where we see the future going."
Sony Ericsson, thanks to being part of Sony, has access to many of the technologies in the space of Gaming, audio and video, which it has been using in its phones like Cybershot (camera technology from Sony), Walkman (Music), and now Xperia series with display technology
