Uninor has announced a plan called STV 36, under which its customers in Mumbai can make STD calls for just 30 paise per minute.
Speaking about the product, Upanga Dutta, circle business head, Mumbai, Uninor, said, "STV 36 is another carefully crafted product for our Mumbai customers. STV 36 is a sensible and cost effective product that offers all-India calling at minimal rates.
Our commitment continues to be towards creating value for money and creating products that make sense to all our customers."
Existing Uninor customers in Mumbai can avail these low STD rates by purchasing a special recharge voucher worth Rs 36. The pack comes with validity of 30 days and will be available at all 33 branded stores and 17,686 POS outlets in Mumbai.
Uninor is owned by the Norway based Telenor group and India's real estate major Unitech Ltd. The company holds a pan-India UAS license to offer mobile telephony services in each of India's 22 circles.
At present, Uninor services are commercially available in the thirteen circles of UP (West), UP (East), Bihar, Orissa, Kolkata, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Mumbai, Maharashtra and Gujarat.
